I’m sure the members of the US WNT who received WWC awards would prefer a World Cup medal over an individual medal, or being named to the All-Star Team, and for Abby Wambach and Hope Solo it seemed to take every muscle in their body to hold their individual trophies when presented them immediately after their loss to Japan. However, they should be proud of their individual achievements.
